Job summary

Porch Light Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Denver-region clinics. The role combines clinical care with administrative support, including patient vitals, injections, appointment coordination, and insurance liaison.

The ideal candidate holds CMA certification, EMR experience (1+ year), and proficiency in Google Suite. This in-person position requires travel to multiple rural locations and a reliable driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or equivalent certification.
• Phlebotomy experience desirable.
• EMR systems experience preferred (at least 1 year).
• Proficiency with Google Suite and other Google applications.
• Ability to navigate multiple patient record platforms.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with patients to schedule and reschedule appointments.
• Submit and track insurance prior authorizations.
• Take and record patient vitals, and perform injections.
• Act as primary liaison for insurance questions and coverage.
• Maintain patient records and clinic data.
• Open/close the clinic and ensure smooth operations.
• Educate patients on paperwork, contracts, and medical protocols related to addiction treatment.
