• Graduated from an accredited medical assistant program preferred.
• Applicants with healthcare experience (EMT, LNA, techs, etc.) will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Answers phones per practice guidelines and triages patient health concerns.
• Interviews patients and records vital signs; updates medications and allergies in EMR.
• Prepares exam rooms and assists with physical exams and procedures.
• Maintains instruments, sterilizes equipment and inventories supplies.
• Schedules referrals and patient appointments per guidelines.
• Uses Cerner/GroupWise for documentation and test orders.
