Job summary

Vancouver Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the Internal Medicine team in Salmon Creek, WA. You will room patients, collect information, and help prepare them for examinations while assisting with overall patient care. EMT or CNA are welcome; on-site training and WA MA-R credentialing will be provided.

Hours are 40/week, Monday–Friday, with on-call options varying 7:00am–5:30pm. Pay starts at $20.59/hr, with a range to $28.27/hr and a $2,500 hire bonus for eligible new hires.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required MA certification or formal MA program or US Armed Forces medical training or EMT training and certification or WA Nursing Assistant-Certification.
• Must obtain WA State MA credential within required timeframe and maintain active status.

**$2,500 Hire Bonus Available

Join the Internal Medicine team as a Medical Assistant!

Responsibilities include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assist with overall delivery of patient care, and receive additional hands-on training to work at top of scope. *_ EMT and CNA welcome to apply. Expectation to receive onsite training and obtain WA State MA-R credential. _

Schedules are Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week. Opportunities are available at our Salmon Creek, 87 _ th _ Ave, Columbia Tech Center , and Battle Ground locations. **On call opportunity also available with a varying schedule Monday through Friday between 7:00am and 5:30pm, hours are not guaranteed. Must be available 3 days per week.**

Pay range starts at $20.59/hour, actual rate commensurate with experience and licensure/certifications.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Required completion of one of the following : Combination of experience and training resulting in a nationally recognized MA certification or completion of a formal MA program or formal medical services training program of the United States Armed Forces or *EMT training and certification or current Washington State Nursing Assistant-Certification. Must obtain Washington State Medical Assistant credential within required timeframe and maintain in active status throughout employment.
• Current healthcare provider BLS required
• Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred
