Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of clinical practice experience.
• BLS certification required at start; CMA certification required at start.

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care: check schedules, manage patient flow, record blood pressure, height, weight, and accompany patients to exam rooms.
• Assist physicians/nurses; assist with procedures and basic testing; prepare patients for examination.
• Handle clerical tasks: manage medical records, forms, and lab reports; ensure chart readiness for encounters.
• Maintain environment: clean rooms and equipment; restock supplies; follow sterile and universal precautions.
• Participate in clinic huddles and quality improvement initiatives; support patient safety and communication.
