Job summary

Emplify Health, in partnership with Gundersen Health System, is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Onalaska Clinic. The role focuses on welcoming patients, taking vitals, updating records, and assisting providers during visits and procedures.

The position emphasizes teamwork, hands-on patient care, and opportunities for professional development within a mission-driven healthcare network. On-site work with a 7:00am–5:30pm schedule, 36 hours/week.

Qualifications

• BLS certification for healthcare workers.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program or Nursing program, or eligible for NCLEX-PN.
• High School Diploma or equivalency with Medical Assistant Certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and set the tone for appointments.
• Update patient information in charting systems.
• Take vitals and prepare patients for examinations.
• Assist providers during office visits and procedures.
• Administer injections and immunizations.
• Collaborate with clinicians to deliver patient care.
