Job summary

US Fertility is hiring a Medical Assistant for the Clear Lake/Shady Grove Fertility location in Texas. The role involves phlebotomy, lab coordination, and patient care under physician supervision. You'll support ultrasound staff and perform clinical duties in a fast-paced fertility setting.

The position requires completing a formal MA program, strong patient service skills, and attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and compassionate patient interactions are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Perform a high volume of phlebotomy.
• Maintain supplies for the blood drawing stations.
• Ensure lab specimens are sent to proper labs.
• Document patient care services utilizing daily logs and patient records.
• Utilize the computer in entering labs and printing labels.
• Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various procedures.
• Assist with HSGs as needed.
• Take vital signs and provide general clinical assistance.
• Assist with the clinical care of fertility patients.
• Provide patient/couple counseling and procedure teaching.
• Provide pre and post op education.
• Establish a compassionate environment for patients and families.
• Work independently to achieve program goals.
• Support and promote excellence in customer service.
• Administrative tasks such as prior authorizations.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Medical Assistant to join our team at Shady Grove Fertility in Clear Lake, Texas.

• Schedule: Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM; weekend and holiday rotations

In this role, the Medical Assistant will:

• Support and promote excellence in customer service
• Administrative tasks, prior authorizations, etc.
