Job summary

TEEMA GROUP is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join a busy healthcare team in Wisconsin. The role involves rooming patients, documenting vital signs, and supporting providers with examinations and procedures.

Responsibilities include vaccines, phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and point-of-care testing, with emphasis on accurate EHR documentation and strong patient service. Monday–Friday shifts with day/evening options are available.

Qualifications

• Administer vaccines and IM/SubQ injections as directed
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments
• Perform EKGs and basic wound care
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift options: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM or 12:00 PM-8:00 PM

What You'll Do

Obtain and document vital signs, reporting abnormal findings to the RN or provider.

Room patients and help maintain efficient patient flow.

Administer vaccines and IM/SubQ medications as authorized and directed.

Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.

Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

Perform EKGs, dressing changes, basic wound care, ear lavages, and peak flow testing as ordered.

Prepare and stock exam rooms while following infection-control procedures.

Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.

What You'll Need

Medical Assistant education, certification, or registration as required by the facility and/or state.

Previous hands-on Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting.

Demonstrated experience with vital signs, phlebotomy, injections/vaccinations, EKGs, wound care, and point-of-care testing.

Experience using electronic health records.

Ability to recognize and promptly report abnormal findings.

Strong communication, organization, and patient-service skills.

Availability to work one of the listed Monday-Friday shifts.
