Job summary

Nextaff is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant & Phlebotomist to support a busy Primary Care practice in Venice and North Port, FL. You’ll work directly with patients each day, greeting & rooming patients, performing blood draws, updating medical histories and other patient info in the EMR system, and other patient support tasks.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule (no nights or weekends).

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills and experience.
• EHR experience (eClinicalWorks a plus!).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma (or equivalent), background & drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Greet and room patients, perform blood draws, and update medical histories in the EMR.
• Support busy primary care practice with patient information and tasks.
• Collaborate with clinicians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

Nextaff is hiring an experienced Medical Assistant & Phlebotomist to support our client's busy Primary Care practice in Venice and North Port, FL. You’ll work directly with patients each day, greeting & rooming patients, performing blood draws, updating medical histories and other patient info in the EMR system, and other patient support tasks.

This is a full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity with a Monday-Friday schedule (no nights or weekends). You will spend 4 days in the Venice office and one day in the North Port office each week.
