Job summary

The Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide healthcare services under the supervision of physicians or APPs. You will perform routine clinical procedures, educate patients, and document care in health records within your certification scope.

Requirements include a high school diploma and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program, with a preference for candidates with at least 2 years of professional experience. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide healthcare services to patients under physician/APP supervision.
Perform routine clinical procedures as instructed.
Participate in patient education and health literacy.
Enter documentation into patients' health records accurately.
Perform duties within the scope of certification as assigned.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification. Inclement Weather Status Required to report

Job Requirements

Education: High School Diploma Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
