Methodist Medical Group is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide healthcare services under the supervision of physicians or APPs and to perform routine clinical procedures. You will enter patient information into health records and support patient education with a focus on accuracy and quality.

The role requires graduation from an accredited MA program, a High School Diploma, and National/Registered MA Certification with BLS.

Qualifications

High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification and BLS (AHA).
Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience, preferred.

Responsabilités

Provide healthcare services to patients under Physician/APP instruction.
Perform routine clinical procedures and participate in patient education.
Enter documentation into patients’ health records and maintain accuracy.

Job Summary

The Medical Assistant will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.
