Job summary

Presbyterian Medical Group's Cedar Multispecialty Clinic is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant I to join our growing team. You will support providers and the care team while delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior Healthcare experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire.
• BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required.
• Maintains current certifications in required emergency response trainings (i.e. BLS).

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assistant procedures after completion of competency within MA scope under supervision.
• Assist with procedures as determined by provider.
• Collect laboratory specimens.
• Provide basic foot care.
• May perform regulatory audits as designated by the Clinic Manager.
• Assist with visit closures.
• Collaborate with care team to meet patient care and clinic needs.
• May perform scribe duties after completing PMG scribe training.

Responsibilities
