Job summary

Children's Medical Center in the United States is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care across four locations.

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification required.
• 1–2 years of medical field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams; obtain and document vital signs
• Update medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reason
• Perform standing orders and assist with clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings, treatments, etc.)
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards
