Job summary

Children’s Medical Center in Palm Harbor, FL is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support providers and the patient-centered care team. The role combines clinical and administrative duties, including preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, updating records, and assisting with procedures.

Evening/weekend shifts rotate; compensation is hourly and competitive. Qualifications include a high school diploma, Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or CNA, and 1–2 years in a medical

• Update medical records, including medications, allergies, pharmacy, and visit reason
• Perform standing orders and assist with clinical procedures (labs, immunizations, screenings, treatments, etc.)
• Support providers during exams and procedures
• Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up (including no-shows)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and preventive health
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and confidentiality standards

Salary Range: $16.61 - $18.00 Hourly

We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Patient-Centered Medical Home team. This role provides clinical and administrative support to providers, patients, and care team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Evening and weekend shifts are required on a rotating basis.

• Certification: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant/Certified Nursing Assistant


• Experience: 1-2 years experience in the medical field preferred
