Job summary

WANG ANNIE WANG BILL is seeking a Medical Assistant for day shifts Monday through Friday in the Atlanta area. The practice is a physician-owned Family and Occupational Medicine clinic established for over 25 years south of Hartsfield-Jackson Airport.

The role supports clinical exams, vitals, EKGs, lab work, and front‑office duties. Applicants should have CMA/RMA or CMA preferred, a Medical Assistant program graduate, a high school diploma, BLS, and strong patient communication.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
  • CMA/RMA preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Take patient histories and verify information.
  • Prepare patients for exams including vitals and medications.
  • Perform ancillary testing such as EKG and spirometry.
  • Collect specimens and arrange lab services.
  • Instruct patients about tests and treatments.
  • Manage inventory and cleanliness of exam rooms.
  • Cross‑train Front Office duties.

Day Shift, Monday through Friday


Salary $14-$17 an hour


Our practice is a physician owned thriving Family and Occupational Medicine practice established in the Atlanta area for over 25 years. We are located just south of Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson Airport. We are fully equipped with a wide range of diagnostics, an efficient EMR system, patient portal, and friendly trained staff to serve the healthcare needs of individuals, families, and companies.


Qualifications


  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program

  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) Preferred

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • BLS Certification

Job Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant is responsible for obtaining patient medical histories and verifying patient information. Prepares patients for physical exams, including taking vital signs, medication dosage and frequency, and allergens. Perform ancillary testing and tasks such as EKG, Spirometry, inhalation treatments, and x‑rays. Preform specimen collection and tests. Check out patients with referral processing and arrange laboratory services. Provide instructions and directions to patients regarding diagnostic tests, procedures and treatment. Ensures all forms and consents are completed by patients. Advise patients about their test results in compliance with provider directives. Manage inventory of medical supplies and exam rooms with appropriate supplies as well as maintain the cleanliness of patient exam rooms and patient restroom. Medical Assistants will be cross‑trained to perform Front Office duties including greeting patients, check in/out, making appointments, answering phones and verification of insurance, collection of patient balances, co‑pays, co‑insurance and deductibles. Obtaining all other information needed for the patient's visit as required.
