Job summary

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the Surgery & Procedures team in Boscobel, WI. You will update charting, take vitals, and support procedures with nurses and providers, in both in-person and virtual visits.

The role is part-time (.8 FTE) with Monday–Friday day shifts and no weekend or holiday hours, offering a starting pay of $21.35/hour plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program, or Vocational Nursing program.
• Or high school diploma with Medical Assistant Certification.
• BLS for healthcare workers.

What you will do:

• Update patient information in charting systems

• Get hands on experience working on procedures with nurses and providers
• Partner with a team of providers, medical professionals, and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.
• This position requires working with in person appointments as well as virtual appointments

What you need:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant program, Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
• Or
• High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
• BLS for healthcare workers
