Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program required.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Ability to perform a variety of clinical tasks and patient care.
• Reliable, motivated team player with strong patient care commitment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; engage with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain and record vital signs, and support in float station.
• Administer injections, perform EKGs, and assist providers with procedures.
• Educate patients, communicate with patients and families, complete required forms.
• Document patient information in eClinicalWorks EHR.
• Maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage supplies.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and clinic policies.
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed for patient care.
• Cross-train to support other specialties; perform related duties as assigned.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join ourMedical Support Staff team. In this role, you will provide exceptional patient care while supporting providers and clinical staff in deliverying high quality care.

The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with patient exams, obtaining vital signs, documenting accurate medical information and ensuring a positive patient experience. Additional responsibilities include preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, maintaining inventory of medical supplies and supporting efficient clinic operations.

• Available Specialties: Gynecology, Family Medicine, Podiatry, & Rheumatology
• Hourly Range: $21.50 - $27.00, based on years of relevant experience.
• Sign-On Bonus:eligible candidates will receive a $1,500 tiered sign-on bonus, paid in three installments.

Responsibilities:

• Room patients, obtain and record vital signs, and provide support in the float station
• Administering injections, perform EKGs, and assist providers with procedures
• Provide patient education, communicate effectively with patients and families, and ensure completion of required forms and documentation
• Accurately document patient information and clinical activity in the in the electronic health record (eClinicalWorks)
• Maintain exam room supplies and equipment, and clean and sterilize instruments
• Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and OSHA standards to promote a safe work environment
• Travel to other clinic locations as needed to support patient care and operational needs
• Cross-train to provide back up support to other specialties
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Completion of a Medical Assisting program required
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
• Current CPR Certification required
• Demonstrated ability to perform a variety of clinical and patient care tasks
• Reliable, motivated team player with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and maintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staff
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse populations and a commitment to promoting an inclusive and respectful workplace
