Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Minnesota is seeking a Medical Assistant to balance patient needs and maintain efficient clinic flow while supporting physicians before, during, and after procedures to ensure an excellent service experience.

You will greet patients, document vital signs, and perform phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection using EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8–6; Maple Grove & Woodbury; compensation $22–$25/hr; paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experience as a Medical Assistant are required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories in the EMR/EHR.

Position Summary:

As a Medical Assistant, you would balance the needs of patients and maintain efficient work flow of the office as well as provide support to the physician in all facets of medical procedures – before during and after. In addition, you would ensure that the patient has an excellent service experience.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-6pm)
• Locations: Maple Grove & Woodbury clinics
• Compensation: $22-$25/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet, room, and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming and positive patient experience.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs, medical histories, and other clinical information in the electronic medical record (EMR/EHR).
• Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, EKGs, injections/vaccinations, specimen collection, and other duties within scope of training and certification.
• Accurately document patient interactions and clinical information using EMR/EHR systems.
• Deliver exceptional patient service while managing a high volume of patient interactions in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Utilize EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar systems.
• Support patient care within a healthcare setting, including physician offices, clinics, urgent care centers, pharmacies, hospitals, or home health environments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent,required.
• 2-5 years of hands-on clinical experienceas a Medical Assistant required.
• Experience performing clinical duties such as vital signs, patient rooming, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections, and specimen collection,required.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant training program and/or current CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification preferred.
• Proven patient-facing or customer service experience in a fast-paced environment,required.
• Fluency in Spanish & English preferred
