Description

Job Overview:

Phoenix Surgical Dermatology Group, LLC is seeking an experienced and energetic Medical Assistant to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our patients and supporting our healthcare providers. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $17 to $22 per hour.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
2. Obtain and record patient medical history and vital signs
3. Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits
4. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
5. Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures
6. Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
8. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Completion of a Medical Assistant program
3. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential preferred
4. Prior experience working in a healthcare setting, dermatology experience is preferred
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
8. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
9. Must be hungry, humble, and smart
10. Must be a team player
11. Spanish speaking preferred
