We are seeking aLicensed Medical Assistantwith experience in a clinical setting to provide high-quality remote medical support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with clinical procedures, patient care, and medical triage, in addition to administrative capabilities. This role involves assisting healthcare providers in managing patient communications, triaging patient concerns, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Responsibilities
  • Triage patient calls and concerns, assessing the level of care needed and prioritizing urgent cases
  • Assist healthcare providers in the coordination of patient care, including follow-ups, medication management, processing referrals, and scheduling
  • Accurately document patient information, update medical records in EMR, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Communicate with patients regarding test results, prescriptions, and treatment plans under the direction of healthcare providers
  • Provide clinical insights to support patient diagnosis and care plans
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as appointment scheduling, billing support, and report generation
  • Coordinate care and manage communication between healthcare providers and patients
  • Adhere to HIPAA and other healthcare compliance regulations
  • Licensed Medical Assistant or equivalent medical certification (RNs,MDs highly preferred)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care standards
  • Experience in patient triage and ability to assess the urgency of medical situations
  • Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain medical information to patients in a clear and concise manner
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a remote medical setting
  • Familiarity with US healthcare regulations and standards
  • Experience handling a variety of clinical tasks, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, and medication administration
