Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians in patient care and clinic operations. The role includes clerical duties, chart management and patient information delivery to optimize clinic services.

Daily responsibilities involve scheduling, front-desk interaction, and maintaining a positive representation of the organization in a busy Cardiology department. Full-time, dayshift, with comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience considered for new hires.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and kept current.
• Minimum one year of public-facing work experience; healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience in health care settings is advantageous.

Overview

• Department: Cardiology
• Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• Facility: Prime Healthcare Medical Group
• Location: 3800 W 203rd St, Olympia Fields IL

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.

2. Medical Assistant Certification perferred.

3. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current

4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5. Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $19.00 to $26.00.
