Job summary

DOCS Health in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support military service members. The role focuses on phlebotomy, immunizations, EKG, and vitals in a fast-paced environment, primarily on weekends with some weekday coverage on an as-needed basis.

Qualified candidates are certified or registered Medical Assistants with related training, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of experience preferred. Experience with military or mobile medical services is a plus.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of California on an "as needed basis".

We Provide Health Readiness Services To Meet The Medical And Dental Requirements To Maintain a Deployable Military Force For The Following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability

Salary Description

$20/Hour
