Job summary

DOCS Health in California is seeking Medical Assistants to join a mobile, fixed-clinic, and telemedicine service for military service members. You will primarily work weekends with occasional weekdays as needed, supporting multiple reserve and guard units.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and taking vitals. Certifications in CMA/RMA and CPR/BLS are required or preferred, with at least one year of experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or equivalent training from an accredited program.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of California on an "as needed basis".
We Provide Health Readiness Services To Meet The Medical And Dental Requirements To Maintain a Deployable Military Force For The Following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
