Job summary

DOCS Health in California is seeking Medical Assistants to join our mobile deployment team. This role focuses on supporting military service members with readiness services in a fixed-clinic, mobile setting.

You will perform phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and vital signs, and must have weekend availability. Prior military or mobile medical experience is preferred, with CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training.
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Minimum one year of experience preferred.
• Experience with medical/mobile services preferred.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of California on an "as needed basis".

Requirements

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

Responsibilities

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.
• EKG.
• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification

• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
