Job summary

DOCS Health in California is seeking Certified or Registered Medical Assistants to support military service members through our mobile and fixed-clinic services on weekends with occasional weekdays as needed.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, immunizations, EKGs, and taking vitals and vision; requirements include MA certification, CPR/BLS, phlebotomy certification preferred, 1 year experience preferred, weekend availability; background checks and drug screening via E-Verify will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant training from an accredited program is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required or preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• Weekend availability is mandatory.
• Experience with medical software or computers is expected.

Attention all Medical Assistants we are calling on you to partner with us to provide services to our Military Service members.

We will primarily work weekends, with some occasional weekdays in the State of California on an \"as needed basis\".

We provide health readiness services to meet the medical and dental requirements to maintain a deployable military force for the following:

Requirements

• U.S. Army Reserve (USAR)
• Army National Guard (ARNG)
• U.S. Navy Reserve (USNR)
• U.S. Marine Forces Reserve (MARFORRES)
• U.S. Coast Guard Reserve (USCGR)
• Air National Guard (ANG)
• U.S. Air Force Reserve (USAFR)

• Phlebotomy / Blood draw.
• Immunizations.

• Manual vitals and vision.

Requirements

• Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or Equivalent Training from Accredited Medical Assisting Training
• Phlebotomy Certification - preferred
• CPR/BLS Certification
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum One (1) year of experience - preferred
• Passionate, friendly, and caring individual
• Utilize universal precautions for patient care
• Experience working with military - preferred
• Experience working with mobile medical services - preferred
• Proficient with computer programs
• Must have weekend availability
