Job summary

Align ENT + Allergy is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our in-person team in Mt Clemens, MI. This full-time role runs Monday through Thursday, with no Fridays, weekends, or holidays.

You will support physicians with exams and procedures, take vital signs, document histories, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced clinic. Ideal candidates have MA experience in outpatient settings, familiarity with EHR systems, and knowledge of ENT/Allergy terminology.

Qualifications

• Experience as Medical Assistant in outpatient settings.
• Familiarity with BLS protocols and emergency procedures.
• Proficiency with EHR systems for patient documentation.
• Understanding of anatomy and physiology to assist assessments.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Take vital signs and document patient history ( Intake ).
• Administer medications as directed and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate EHRs and ensure ICD coding compliance.
• Provide excellent patient service and address inquiries promptly.
• Support scheduling, medical records management and referrals.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This is a Monday-Thursday position. No Fridays, Weekends or Holidays. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong foundation in medical terminology, patient service, and clinical procedures, making it essential for candidates to have experience in various medical settings, including outpatient clinics, urgent care, and hospital medicine.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
• Perform intake assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting patient history
• Administer medications as directed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with medical coding standards (ICD coding)
• Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating referrals

QualificationsExperience

Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Knowledge of ENT/Allergy/Asthma is desired but not required
• Prior work experience as a Medical Assistant
