Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for Ambulatory Virtual Programs in Newtown Square, PA. This position is remote, with training near Newtown Square and possible on-site support for internet issues.

You will assist physicians with routine procedures, support virtual program workflows, and contribute to efficient patient care delivery. A Medical Assistant Program completion and basic computer/software familiarity are required, with experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
• Proficiency in medical procedures and medical terminology.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of personal computers and relevant software applications preferred.
• Knowledge of third-party payors preferred.

Education and Experience

Licensure and Certifications

• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred.
• All Medical Assistants are required to have BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.

Requirements and Health & Safety

• This position requires wearing a respirator as part of the job requirement.

Position Details

• Position: Medical Assistant
• Shift: Day Shift, Full-Time
• Schedule: Flexible with staggered office hours between 8A and 7PM
• Experience: 1 year preferred; familiarity with relevant software
• Pay Range: $18.37 - $28.47
• Job Grade: 205
