Job summary

Main Line Health in Aston, PA seeks a Medical Assistant to support clinicians in routine tasks, blood draws, vital signs, immunizations and EKGs. This role focuses on efficient patient flow and high-quality care in a busy primary care setting.

The position offers tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year, 120 hours of PTO annually, and free employee parking. 1 year of experience and MA program graduate status are preferred; BLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
• One year experience preferred.
• Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Position:

Medical Assistant

Shift:

Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Wednesday rotating shifts either 7:45am-4:15pm or 10am-6:30pm.

Experience:

• 1. Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology required.
• 2. One year experience preferred.
• 3. Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
• 4. Knowledge of third party payors preferred.

Education:

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
• All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
• This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
