Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical staff under physician supervision. You will perform patient care activities, assist with procedures, and interact with patients and their families in a compassionate, professional manner.

Requirements include MA certification, 2 years of MA experience preferred, BLS/CPR, and phlebotomy skills. Day shift, M-F, on-site opportunities in the Newnan/Atlanta area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• MA certification required.
• Current BLS and CPR required (Obtain AHA certificate within 30 days of hire).
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and self-motivated.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective oral written communication skills.
• Computer and typing skills required.
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred.

• Under the direct supervision of a physician, physician extender, or a registered nurse, performs a variety of patient care activities in accordance with established standards.

The successful candidate:

Hours are M-F 8:00am - 4:30pm
