Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client’s medical facility based in Manhattan, NY, 10003. This is a 3-month assignment with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Details:

• Location: Manhattan, NY, 10003
• Duration: 3 Months+
• Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00/hr (based on experience and education)
• Schedule: Eastern Time - Tuesday-Thursday 11:00 am-7:00 pm, Friday 9:30 am-5:30 pm, Saturday 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Performs basic diagnostic procedures for identifying microbial pathogens from clinical specimens.
• Prepares specimens and operates automated analyzers; may conduct manual tests as directed.
• Maintains knowledge of lab techniques, principles, and instrumentation.
• Assists with lab projects, evaluates new products/instrumentation, and performs quality control.
• May perform phlebotomy as needed.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Certificate of completion from an approved Medical Assistant training program with at least 2 years of experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
