MEDICAL ASSISTANT AT MANHATTAN UPPER EAST SIDE DERMATOLOGY PRACTICE

Base Salary is $75K to $95K (based upon experience and candidate); Plus Paid OT (if worked)

Top, Cosmetic and Medical Dermatology Practice on Manhattan’s Upper East Side looking for a talented, experienced Medical Assistant to join its busy practice. Ideal candidate(s) will be self-motivated, customer-driven and have excellent communication skills.

Office Hours are 8am-6pm (Mon-Thu) and 8am-4pm (Fri). Full-time Role (35-40 hours Weekly); Onsite; and Flexibility to Work Four (4) or Five (5) Days (8-10 hour shift).

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Two Plus (2+) years of Experience as a Medical Assistant with strong preference in Dermatology or Plastic Surgery
• Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
• Superior Customer Services Skills
• Able to Work in a Fast-paced Environment
• Advanced Computer Skills

RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW

• Medical Scribe (Documenting Examination Findings, Updating and Maintaining Medical Records, etc.)
• Assisting Dermatologists with Examinations
• Assisting Dermatologists with Procedures, such as skin tag removal, excisions, biopsies, Botox, laser, etc.
• Measure and Record Vital Signs
• Obtain Blood Samples and Process Lab Orders
• Sanitizing and Preparing Exam Rooms and Sterilize Instruments
• Restocking Exam Rooms
