Job summary

Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences in Moreno Valley, CA is seeking a Medical Assistant for a six-month contract, on-site role. Pay ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, with a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Location: Moreno Valley, CA 92553.

You will support clinicians, room patients, obtain vitals, assist with EKGs, injections, vaccines, and manage referrals using the EPIC EMR system. Successful candidates will have prior MA experience, EPIC proficiency, strong communication, and

• Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask in a busy outpatient clinic environment.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians with day-to-day patient care and clinic workflow.
• Room patients, obtain vitals, and prepare patients for visits.
• Perform discharge duties including EKGs, POCT, injections, and vaccines as needed.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-up.
• Respond to and manage in-basket messages.
• Process referrals and prior authorizations for medications.
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR system.
• Provide excellent patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.
