Job summary

Main Line Health in Delaware County seeks a Medical Assistant to support the Lankenau Heart Group across Media, Aston, Concordville, and Springfield locations.

Responsibilities include assisting physicians with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and other tasks to maintain smooth patient flow. Requires MA program completion, HS diploma, and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Completion of supervised hands-on clinical training through practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience.
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required; MA program graduate preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred; BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.

Position:

Medical Assistant

Shift:

Day Shift, Full-Time. Monday-Friday shift times between 7am-5:00pm.

Experience:

1. Completion of supervised hands on clinical training through a practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient

care experience. Requirement for new hires effective 9/1/2026.

1. At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Required

Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.

Licensures/Certifications:

Medical Assistant Certification Preferred

All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
