Job summary

Main Line Health is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support Breast Surgical Specialists. The role requires travel to Media, Bryn Mawr, and Newtown Square, assisting physicians with routine patient care and maintaining smooth patient flow.

The MA will perform blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, and EKGs, with opportunities for advancement and tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 per year. Join a team focused on excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of supervised hands on clinical training through practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience.
• At least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.
• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients by assisting physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, and EKGs to maintain smooth patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist during procedures as needed to support physicians and clinicians.
• Admit, discharge, and document patient information in the medical record with attention to accuracy and privacy.

Position

Medical Assistant

Shift

Day Shift, Part-time, 24 hours per week. 3 days per week from 8 am - 4:30 pm. Days will vary.

Experience

• Completion of supervised hands on clinical training through a practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience. Requirement for new hires effective 9/1/2026.
• At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Required

Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.

Licensures/Certifications

• Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
• All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
