Job summary

Main Line Health seeks a Regional Medical Assistant for Family Medicine. This role supports physicians with routine patient care, including blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, and EKGs, and serves patients across multiple clinics in the region.

The position offers an additional $5.00 per hour, cross-training as a Patient Service Representative, tuition assistance up to $6,000 per year, and benefits such as paid time off and free parking. Travel to listed sites is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of supervised hands-on clinical training through practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience.
• At least one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and practitioners with routine patient care tasks.
• Perform blood draws, measure vital signs, administer immunizations, and perform EKGs as needed.
• Maintain smooth patient flow and anticipate patient needs.

Position

Medical Assistant. The candidate will be cross trained as a Patient Service Representative.

Shift

Monday-Friday. Shifts vary between 7:00am-7:00PM

Experience

• Completion of supervised hands on clinical training through a practicum, externship, apprenticeship, or similar patient care experience. Requirement for new hires effective 9/1/2026.
• At least one (1) year of experience as a Medical Assistant strongly preferred.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Required Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.

Licensures/Certifications

Medical Assistant Certification Preferred All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
