Job summary
Main Line Health, Inc. in King of Prussia, PA is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinicians in routine patient-care tasks and to help maintain efficient patient flow.
The role requires graduation from an approved Medical Assistant program, proficiency in medical terminology, and the ability to perform routine procedures. 1 year of experience and knowledge of EMR/medical software are preferred; BLS is required by hire or soon after start date.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program.
- Proficient in medical procedures and medical terminology.
- One year experience preferred.
- Knowledge of personal computer and relevant software applications preferred.
- Knowledge of third party payors preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and practitioners with routine blood draws, vital signs, immunizations, EKGs, and related tasks.
- Help maintain smooth patient flow and anticipate patient needs.

Medical Assistant
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Medical Assistant Certification Preferred
All Main Line Health Care Medical Assistants are required to have their BLS for Healthcare Providers at time of hire or within 30 days of start date.
