Premise Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Full Time Medical Assistant to support our Health Center team. You will conduct patient interviews, measure vital signs, prepare treatment rooms, and assist with medical procedures while maintaining precise health records.

The role requires current Medical Assistant certification with hands-on BLS training, and CMA certification is preferred. A Monday–Friday schedule with full benefits and paid time off is offered.

Formación

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC or equivalent) required
• CMA certification from a recognized board or equivalent entity
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred

• Maintain accurate patient health records
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Administer medications including injections and perform labs and EKGs
• Assist at front desk, schedule appointments and order supplies
• Perform other duties as assigned

As a Full Time Medical Assistant you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Madison, WI. Enjoy a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with 34 hours per week and full-time benefits, including PTO!

Weekly Schedule

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM

• Tuesday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Wednesday: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

• Thursday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Friday: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

What You’ll Do

• Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
• Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
• CMA certification required from the American Association of Medical Assistants, the National Center of Competency Testing, the National Certification Medical Association, American Medical Technologists, or any other recognized certifying body approved by the Board of Medical Examiners (South Carolina only)
• Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
