Job summary

ExperCARE Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant for a full-time position in Alabama. You will work in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic, providing triage, vitals, EKGs, phlebotomy, injections, and assistive support to providers for a high standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, vital signs, and patient history.
• Conduct EKGs and rapid lab testing.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections.
• Assist providers with procedures and patient care.
• Manage patient call-backs and provide education.
• Set up and assist with sterile procedures.
• Maintain and stock exam rooms and supplies.
• Support occupational medicine services (drug screens, breath alcohol testing, etc.).
• Contribute to a positive, efficient, and patient-centered clinic environment.

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Flexible availability — including days, evenings, and weekends
• Certified or licensed (or eligible for certification/licensure)
• Ability to pass a background check at time of hire
• Prior clinical experience strongly preferred
