Job summary

Saban Community Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and patient care in a fast‑paced clinic setting. You will prepare exam rooms, assist with examinations and procedures, and perform vital signs, vision and hearing screenings, and venipuncture under protocol.

The role requires CA‑accredited Medical Assistant certification, experience with EHR systems (i2i, CAIR), and strong data entry. Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patients in Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• Certification as Medical Assistant from a California-accredited program is required.
• Venipuncture, audiometry and spirometry skills are required.
• Ability to perform EKG tests and data entry in EHR systems is expected.
• Bilingual abilities (Spanish, Russian, Armenian, or Korean) are preferred.
• Prior clinical experience in a community clinic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up exam rooms and stock supplies for clinic sessions.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures in patient care.
• Record vital signs, vision tests, audiometry, spirometry, EKGs, and collect specimens.
• Provide patient information on referrals, follow-ups, and test results.
