Job summary

Cedar Recovery, LLC in Lebanon, Tennessee, is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinical staff in an ASAM Level I outpatient setting. The role includes clinical prep, charting, scheduling, and e-prescribing tasks in an in-person environment.

The ideal candidate has EMR experience and a CMA certification (preferred). Boying through the clinic’s processes, you will assist with office coordination and patient care coordination while contributing to recovery outcomes.

Medical Assistant-Lebanon

Cedar Recovery, LLC is an ASAM Level I outpatient treatment facility that employs an array of evidenced-based treatment modalities to provide an integrated model of care of medical, counseling, and therapeutic interventions to treat every patient’s individual needs and promote long-term sustainable recovery from substance use disorder. While Cedar Recovery provides care for all substance use disorders, it has a primary focus on treating opioid use disorder with medications such as Buprenorphine and/or Naltrexone (MAT).

The purpose of this position is to serve as a Medical Assistant for Cedar Recovery. The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assists Medical Professionals with clinical prep including notation of lab results, patient UDS schedule, and e-prescribing
• Maintains patient care by pulling CSMDs, charting audits, scheduling patient follow-up appointments, and handling prescription issues
• Proficient computer manageability for scheduling, changing, and canceling appointments and required documentation
• Acts as support for the Office Coordinator and Patient Care Coordinator

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.50 - $22.50 per hour
