Job summary

Ascentist Healthcare seeks a Medical Assistant to support our Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine clinics. You will room patients, document medical histories, take vital signs, and assist providers to ensure efficient patient flow across our Kansas and Missouri locations.

The role is full-time with hours that may vary between 7:00 am–3:30 pm and 7:30 am–4:00 pm. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and a 401k plan, plus optional

• Minimum of one year substantially similar work experience in a medical setting, performing substantially similar Medical Assistant essential functions

We’re looking for a dedicated individual to join our dynamic team, where every day is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care. This role supports our Ascentist Healthcare clinics, helping us deliver exceptional care across our locations in Kansas and Missouri.

As a Medical Assistant, You will play a key role in supporting a variety of clinical areas, working alongside different providers and care teams. This position will float between our Endocrinology, Pulmonology, and Sleep Medicine departments, providing coverage and support as needed. You will help maintain a professional and efficient environment while using strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with staff and providers, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for every patient.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit
