Comprehensive EyeCare Partners in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Medical Assistant to support ophthalmologists with eye care services and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate documentation.

You will perform specialized eye exam testing, assist with procedures, provide phone support for prescriptions, educate patients on medications and post-operative care, and uphold HIPAA privacy standards.

Qualifications

• One year of customer-facing experience preferred.
• Medical-related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized eye exam testing while streamlining patient flow.
• Assist with other diagnostic testing such as Visual Aids, OCT, corneal topography, etc.
• Provide phone support for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding medications and pre- and post-operative instructions.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
• Assist with opening and closing duties and other assigned tasks.
