Comprehensive EyeCare Partners is seeking a Medical Assistant at Evergreen Eye Center in Federal Way, WA. The role supports ophthalmologists with clinical and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow and high-quality eye care.

The position runs from 7:15AM to 4:15PM, Monday through Friday, with responsibilities including eye exam testing, patient education, and maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.

Qualifications

• One-year experience in a customer facing position preferred.
• Medical related experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Proficient in use of internet.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform specialized eye exam testing while streamline patient flow.
• Other diagnostic testing such as: Visual Aids, OCT, Corneal topography, etc...
• Providing phone support with request for prescription refills as authorized by the physician.
• Educate patients regarding administration of medications and pre- and post-operative instructions as directed by physician.
• Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, such as HIPPA guidelines, to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Assists with opening and closing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

An Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting ophthalmologists in providing eye care services to patients. They assist with both clinical and administrative tasks, contributing to the efficient operation of the practice.
