Job summary

ProHealth Partners is a well-established multi-specialty physician group providing patient care for over 30 years across a broad network of clinics. We are seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care.

The role involves greeting patients, scheduling, rooming, taking vitals, and assisting with injections and phlebotomy. Bilingual Spanish preferred, CPR certified, and 1–2 years MA experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' hands-on experience as a Medical Assistant.
• CPR certification required.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in person and over the phone.
• Schedule appointments to maximize provider efficiency.
• Room patients and document vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist with injections, phlebotomy, and examinations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and support a safe, welcoming environment.

ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $24-25 per hour

Hours: Mon-Fri, 29 hours or less per week

Responsibilities:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing support to ensure efficient clinic operations and exceptional patient care. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients and visitors in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments to maximize provider efficiency, managing exam room flow, verifying insurance eligibility and benefits, and preparing required documentation prior to appointments. The Medical Assistant maintains patient confidentiality while fostering a safe, welcoming environment. Clinical duties include rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, reviewing and updating medical histories, administering injections, performing phlebotomy as needed, assisting providers during examinations and procedures, and supporting the delivery of quality patient care. Additional duties may be assigned to meet the needs of the practice.

Requirements:

• Bilingual (Spanish), preferred
• 1-2 years' hands on experience working as an MA
• CPR Certified
