Job summary

Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, seeks a Medical Assistant to support physicians and handle clerical tasks at our New Jersey clinics. Located in the Morris, Warren, and Sussex county area, the role offers a full-time Day shift.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Certification, current BLS, and at least one year in a public-facing health care role. Healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate on hire.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting physicians with patient care, clerical, environmental and organization tasks. Responsible for appointment scheduling and chart management. Provides Information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Conveys a positive image of organization.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.
• Medical Assistant Certification.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $17.50/Hr. to $25.35/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
