Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Medical Assistant to join the team at Madison Correctional Facility in Indiana. The role reports to the RN or LPN and includes monitoring vital signs, executing lab orders, and assisting physicians with minor procedures.

Responsibilities also include recording EKGs, equipment maintenance, and data collection for Quality Improvement projects. Requires Indiana MA license/certification and CPR.

Qualifications

• Indiana Medical Assistant license/certification is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Corrections experience preferred, not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, including drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement orders for diagnostic lab tests.
