Our Ortho clinic on Barry Road is seeking a Medical Assistant to join their team! The ideal candidate will be able to build rapport with patients and identify their needs in collaboration with the nursing and provider team members. You must have excellent phone and computer skills, be a strong team player, and able to adapt to change with ease. This position will be 80% direct patient care, 20% other duties (phones, chart prep, stocking rooms, cleaning/sterilizing equipment). Because this is a specialty clinic, you will get the opportunity to learn and work with medications, equipment, and patient populations that you may not have encountered in your previous positions. This is a great opportunity for an experienced or entry level Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), an experienced or entry level Medical Assistant or even someone interested in becoming a medical assistant and providing patient care.Those candidates that are not certified or that do not have applicable experience will receive 10 weeks of on the job training to learn the position. This position is responsible for assisting providers in the evaluation, management, and delivery of professional medical care in a busy multi-specialty physician practice.
