Altais is seeking a Medical Assistant in Hawaii to support the care delivery team in a fast-paced, paperless practice. You will take vitals, room patients, assist with procedures, and coordinate care under provider orders.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year MA experience in outpatient setting; 3+ preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Take vitals and room patients.
  • Assist with procedures and injections, urine analysis, EKG, wounds care, ear lavage.
  • Schedule appointments, check in/out, collect co-pays, and coordinate prescriptions.
  • Triage calls and messages; provide patient education per provider orders.

You will keep the medical practice running efficiently by performing administrative and clinical functions within patient flow aligned within established Practice Management Guidelines. As part of a cross-functional team, you will work directly with a team of Medical Assistants and Medical Receptionists reporting directly to the Practice Operations Supervisor. You will own responsibilities in a fast-paced environment working within a paperless environment.
