Job summary

OrthoArizona in Gilbert, AZ seeks Medical Assistants of all levels to join a premier orthopedic care team. This full-time position requires travel with physicians across clinics and offers comprehensive benefits.

You will support exam preparation, EMR entries, and patient flow in a fast-growing practice. Qualified candidates have a Medical Assistant program credential, CPR, and at least one year of office experience; EMR experience (ModMed/EMA) is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • At least one year of medical office experience.
  • 1+ year EMR experience with ModMed/EMA preferred.
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.
  • Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.
  • Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Assist in the procedure room with procedures, receive IV training and certification and start IVs.
  • Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.

Salary: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

As a Medical Assistant with OrthoArizona, you will get to:
