Job summary

United Vein & Vascular Centers is seeking a Clinical Technologist to join our fast-paced clinics. This entry-level role is ideal for MAs and PCTs looking to expand their skills. After completing initial training (4-6 weeks), you’ll perform all responsibilities independently in a supportive team environment.

The floating role will be based at Buckhead and cover Duluth, Inman Park, Newnan and Douglasville with mileage reimbursement. Eligibility requires a high school diploma and BLS within 60 days.

• Experience as MA/PCT welcome but not required beyond 1 year in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation.
• Use eCW to update patient status and maintain patient flow.
• Prepare exam rooms and support sterile and non-sterile procedures.
• Assist in surgical procedures and follow CDC/OSHA guidelines.
• Document patient information and consent forms; manage inventory and stock exam rooms.
• Uphold HIPAA standards and maintain patient confidentiality.

This role is a floating role which will be based out of Buckhead clinic and help cover the clinics in market including: Duluth, Inman Park, Newnan and Douglasville. Mileage reimbursement will apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care Support: Assist with patient rooming, verification, and vitals documentation. Use eCW to update patient status and maintain smooth patient flow.
• Procedure Support: Prepare exam rooms, support sterile and non-sterile procedures, assist in surgical procedures, and follow CDC and OSHA guidelines for safety and cleanliness.
• Documentation & Inventory: Document patient information, complete consent forms, manage inventory, and keep exam rooms stocked.
• Compliance & Confidentiality: Uphold all HIPAA standards, follow UVVC's Core Values and Standards of Conduct, and maintain the highest level of patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Surgical Technician, or Scrub Technician in a patient care setting
• Certification: BLS certification required within 60 days of hire (American Heart Association preferred)
• Preferred completion of an accredited MA or Surgical Technologist program
• Strong communication skills and experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
• Dependable, punctual, and knowledgeable in medical terminology
