Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in the Fresno area. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and the ability to adapt quickly to different clinical environments while delivering high‑quality patient care.

The position entails rooming patients, taking vital signs, assisting with examinations, administering medications, performing EKGs, and EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is highly preferred.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience is highly preferred.
• Oncology knowledge is preferred.
• Experience in a specialty clinic or outpatient setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing assignments.

• Float between multiple specialty departments based on staffing needs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification, highly preferred.
• Two years of Medical Assistant experience, highly preferred.
